First NYCT Pop-Up Coffee Break

On February 26 at 2:00 PM, members and friends of the New York Circle of Translators gathered in the welcoming space of the Capital One Café in Midtown Manhattan for an informal and energizing NYCT Pop-Up Coffee Break — and it was a true success.

What began as a simple mid-afternoon meetup quickly turned into a lively exchange of ideas, stories, and professional insight. Translators and interpreters from across the city paused their busy schedules to unwind together, share experiences from the field, and enjoy meaningful conversations.

The relaxed setting created the perfect atmosphere for connection. As always, the richness of our profession was reflected in the diversity of languages, backgrounds, and specialties represented among the ten attendees.

A special thanks to our very own NYCT member, Daniela Todea, who spearheaded the event along with Liz, our vice-president and to all who joined and helped make this pop-up event such a warm and memorable afternoon. We look forward to many more moments of connection — one cup at a time. ☕ Stay tuned for more!
